I’ve enjoyed breakfast here many times, and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh and flavorful — the omelettes and pancakes are especially delicious. The staff is warm, friendly, and great at helping you choose the right portion or dish based on what you’re craving. Parking is also convenient with 90 minutes available in the nearby structure. Overall, consistently a great experience!
Husband & I had an incredible experience at Hudson Cafe! The food was absolutely yummy, and those jalapeño margaritas 🍹 are a must-try—perfectly balanced with just the right amount of kick. What really made our visit stand out was the service. Our server, John, was exceptional. He was attentive, friendly, and went the extra mile by wishing us a happy anniversary, which made our celebration feel even more special. We will definitely be back
My food was served hot like I like. My breakfast was amazing seasoning, portions all wonderful. Best cheesy grits outside my own kitchen. And my server, could not have been more attentive patient and amazing. Lets not forget, a full bar. Very Important!
I was very excited to try this place because I have always heard great things about it. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the staff, who were very kind and friendly. I was surprised that it was not too busy, since the staff were explaining that it would usually be packed on a Friday morning. Anyway, the cafe itself was spacious with a beautiful atmosphere. The place was spotless and smelled wonderful. Our waitress was the most polite and friendly person ever. I wish I remembered her name, but she was so sweet with short blonde hair. She made us feel very welcome and excited to be at this cafe. Moving forward, we ordered the red velvet waffles with berries, the quesadilla, a side of sweet potatoes, and a side of waffle fries. The food was actually so delicious. It was my first time trying red velvet waffles, and let me tell you that I am so obsessed with them. They were perfectly made with the right amount of toppings. I was very pleased. The sweet potatoes were also delightful. I was very, very impressed with the food and experience. My boyfriend was pleased as well, since he enjoyed his meal and was happy. I very much recommend this cafe and will be returning again. 10/10 experience.
My Wife and I had brunch at The Hudson Cafe. We used the online site to reserve a table about half an hour prior to arriving, and we were glad we did because of how busy they were and how many other people were waiting in line. Service was attentive and friendly, helpful with our questions about the menu. The aesthetic of the restaurant is really cozy modern, though the overall atmosphere feels very busy because of the noise. It would be nice if it were a little quieter, maybe from sound dampening panels or softer music (instead of generic pop). The food was excellent! I greatly enjoyed my omelet and gluten free pancakes. My wife enjoyed her fruit waffle. We both loved the breakfast potatoes. Overall, I would go here for brunch again and would recommend it. While the atmosphere isn't *perfect*, the food was really good and the interior is nice. A fun place for a Saturday brunch!
Had a great time this morning at the Troy location. Been to the Detroit location last year for my bday & it worked my nerves with All them people! & something make me sick at that location in the food .. on the contrast, The Troy location was my speed!! Omg JOHN, my bartender & server was so catering & sweet! Just a good guy with great energy !! Had fun & will be back . Macy was nice too! Everyone had a 😊 smile !!!
I have visited the Hudson Café’s downtown location, but this was my first time at the Troy location. The roasted beet salad was very filling and full of flavor, and the side of pita bread was fluffy and so good! I thought the portions were very reasonable for the pricing. My friend ordered the eggs Benedict and said it was delicious! Our server, Heather, was attentive and accommodating, and was very knowledgeable about gluten-free options for my friend, which was so reassuring. The menu has such great variety and I want to try so many things, including the gluten-free berry French toast next time! The atmosphere is quaint and beautifully decorated, and the restaurant was very clean!
Brunch at Hudson Cafe was awesome. The staff was amazing — super friendly, attentive, and you can tell they really care about the experience. Service was quick, everyone was welcoming, and the whole place had a great energy. The food was really good too. Everything came out fresh, hot, and exactly what you want from a solid brunch spot. Never been here before. Stopped in for a quick breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Was seated politely and quickly. Waitress Stephanie was very nice and food came out very quickly. Atmosphere was nice. Food was delicious!
All I can say is our breakfast was Delicious! We can't wait to go back! The pancakes were so HUGE and I was impressed with my graham cracker French toast. It did have too much cream cheese for my liking but for those who love cream cheese it would be perfect. The eggs were cooked softly and just the right amount of cheese and the potatoes had flavor. I would recommend going during the week because the weekends are jam packed.
